The students had a great week learning more about statements, questions, exclamations, and commands.
In math we are working hard to understand and solve story problems.  In reading we are continuing to work on vowels, vocabulary and comprehension.  Please encourage you child to keep reading!

Hello!

It is Monday again!!  I just wanted to remind you that we have our Parent Meeting on Tuesday, September 14,  2010 at 6:00.  It will be about a half and hour long.  I hope to see you here. :)

2A Is Learning A Lot

The 2A students are learning so much.  This week in math they learned about Ven Diagrams and counting by 2's, 5's and 10's.  The students are really working on their manners and saying please and thank you, excuse me and so on.  Some of the kids are working on not socializing so much with their neighbors.  They are showing such an improvement.  Keep up all the good work kids.

It is Friday again.  Wow!  We have 2 weeks of school in. 
The children have their flashcards and should know which ones to study and which ones to hold back.  They should practice their flashcards every night.  We are also learning about different types of sentences such as, statements, questions, exclamations, and commands.
